"The idea of organizing the contest "The best commercial vehicle of the year in Russia" appeared in the early 2000s when I headed the magazine "Comtrans". I will not say that it was original idea - by that time contests of this kind had already been held abroad. Nevertheless, the initiative was supported in every way by industry professionals and journalists of specialized publications that were members of the jury, as it ceremony introduced an element of competition in the work of the car industry and ultimately promoted the development of the segment of commercial vehicles."
